How to Configure RAID in Icon Pro Series Controller

                                                
INTEL RAID

1.       Press Del for Bios setup then goto Advanced Feature
2.       Select IDE/SATA Configuration & select  configuration SATA as RAID
3.       After that save the Bios configuration system will reboot.
4.       When system starts booting again then press Ctrl I for Intel then select create Raid volume and press enter.

  


5.       Provide the volume name Raid 1 or 0.






6.       Select RAID Level as per requirement 0/1.
7.       Select Raid1 for Hard Dish redundancy.




8.       Select capacity and press Enter for create volume as per Hard Dish capacity.




9.       After completing  the process Press Create Volume.






Press Y for Yes and select Exit and Y For yes again.




After conformation of RAID1 ESC for exit.




Press Yes for Exit. 


System will automatically restart & your controller is ready with RAID1.

How to Configure SNTP Server

1.      Type Regedit.
2.      Then Locate registry entry: 
a.       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config\AnnounceFlags 
                                          i.    Change the value from 10 to 5    (it means to use local CMOS time clock)         
3.      Locate registry entry: 
a.       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProvider\NTPClient
                                          i.    Enable (set value to 1).
4.      Locate registry entry: 
a.       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\ TimeProvider \NTPServer
                                          i.    Enable (set value to 1).


5.      Run CMD (Command Prompt) as Administrator.



6.      Type net stop w32time & then net start w32time.


7.      Finally your SNTP Server is ready to use.
